What software do you use for Issue and Dialogue Mapping?
You don’t need software to create either type of these maps. However, we recommend using Compendium.
Compendium was initially developed in Verizon research labs as a next generation version of the QuestMap product, which provided software support for the widely recognized IBIS methodology (Issue-Based Information System), as embodied in Dialogue Mapping by CogNexus Institute. Learning Compendium is a bit of an investment, but we believe it is the best software out there to do this kind of mapping. It allows maps to be scalable, changeable and easier to read than a hand-written map.

This version does a better job of exporting Outlines and has many new exciting features: Mapping over movies; curved links and link formatting; Linked Files manager; Group working improvements for working over the net, to name just a few.
